About Us

Open Circle is a film and media company that supports filmmaker-led projects and the people who believe in them.

Who We Are

We believe that a good story, well told, can change the world. Open Circle partners with filmmakers to fund, produce, and distribute stories that matter — and with investors who want to support powerful, ethically made films built to reach an audience. We’re drawn to stories that build empathy, reflect diverse perspectives, and highlight resilience and hope.

Our Approach

Open Circle partners closely with filmmakers, supporting their vision while providing the structure, planning, and stewardship that help projects move forward in a sustainable way — from development through distribution.

For Filmmakers

For storytellers, we help navigate the business, funding, and logistics that often pull attention away from creative work.

For Supporters

For investors, we offer intentional project selection, transparency, and systematic production management.

For Everyone

We believe stories can have lasting cultural impact — on the audience, and on the people who bring films to life.

Fair, Responsible Filmmaking

Open Circle is committed to making films the right way.

We believe everyone involved in a project, cast, crew, and creative partners, should be treated with dignity and respect. This commitment shapes how we structure projects, partnerships, and production practices.
