Open Circle Films to Partner with Sonscreen Film Festival

Open Circle Films is pleased to announce its partnership with the Sonscreen Film Festival for the 2026 festival year. Open Circle will participate as both a sponsor and exhibitor and will be available throughout the festival to connect with interested filmmakers.

As part of the partnership, Open Circle will provide in-kind support through professional services, organizational assistance, and volunteer hours. The company will also maintain an exhibitor presence, creating opportunities for filmmakers, students, and attendees to connect and learn more about Open Circle’s work.

Both Open Circle founders have longstanding connections to Sonscreen and view this collaboration as a way for both organizations to benefit through aligned goals and complementary strengths. While Sonscreen and Open Circle are separate organizations with distinct missions, both share a belief that creative communities are strongest when they work collaboratively rather than in parallel.

During the festival, Zach Kast will serve as Open Circle’s primary on-site representative,

connecting with attendees and answering questions while Rynn Scribner will be focused on her Sonscreen responsibilities throughout the event.

In addition to its festival presence, Open Circle and Sonscreen are currently developing a collaborative project, with more details to be announced in the coming months.
